Elita Gıda, a Sunar company, was founded in 2006 for the production and sales of quality, healthy, traceable edible oil by processing oil seeds grown in Türkiye and tripled its capacity with an 20 million dollars additional investment in 2012.

Sunar branded Corn, Sunflower and Omega 3 oils which Elita Gıda offers to market in accordance with ‘’From Seed to Table’’ food safety chain.The desired edible oil brand of world cuisine of course particularly Turkish cuisine.Other than retail products, sunflower, corn, canola and other cooking oils produced with the purpose of industrial / out-of-home consumption are offered for consumers and processed food companies with the “Sunar Professional” brand and 18L tin packaging.

Elita Gıda is one of the few integrated production facilities in Türkiye, it incorporates crude oil production , extraction, refining, and filling operations, and  turns oil seeds that process directly from the farmers into a final product, procuring them directly from the farmer.

Elita Gıda is one of the most modernized edible oil production facilities in Türkiye with its advanced technology and automated infrastructure that minimizes human error at every stage of production. Elita Gıda, which gives the utmost importance to food safety, not only offers quality products to consumers and reliable services with the Quality Management Department, laboratories, expert personnel and technological infrastructure that it formed with the understanding of superior quality but also works as the region’s arbitrator laboratory.

Elita Gıda has the “ICI 9001 Quality Management System,” “ICI 22000 Food Safety Management System,” “ICI 10002 Customer Satisfaction Management System,” “Halal Food Assurance Management System,” “FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System,” “KOSHER,” ICI 27001 Information Security Management System “, “OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System”, “ICI 14001 Environmental Management System” and “TSE Product Compliance” certificates/documents. Also, Elita Gıda carries out operations within the understanding of “Total Quality Management”.

Thanks to its more than 50 years of oil production experience of Sunar Group, Elita Gıda is ranked on the ICI 500, which is prepared by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and lists the industrial giants of Türkiye, and has been among the 250 largest companies in Türkiye for the past seven years.
